He is survived by: his wife Janice Burgess; his children, Dewayne Burgess (Theresa) and Charlotte Walker (Kevin); his grandchildren, Brittany Marr (DeAlan), Grace Dixon (Derrick) and Timm Walker (Sarah); and his siblings, Roger Burgess (Pam), Willis Burgess (Debbie), Marvin Burgess (Diane), Doyle Burgess (Marla), Aster Burgess (Fannie), Mamie Cole, Treva McKinney (Joey), Frances Irwin (Randy) and Darlene Bell (Dave).
