He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Madge Hembree Burnett and Joe Allen Burnett; his grandparents, Fannie Hedgecoth Burnett and Herman Burnett; and his daughter Tara Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burnett; his children, Joey Burnett (Sheri), Brian Burnett, Brandon Burnett and Major Burnett; his grandchildren, Braylon, Rylan and Kellen Burnett; and his siblings, Dallas Ray, Fran Young, Melissa Chandler, Terry Burnett and Tim Burnett.
