He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Nealon and Stella Nealon (Hall); his son Richard; and his siblings, Boyd, Floyd, Dallas, Ronald, Syble Nichols, Shirley Wilson and Faye Thomas.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Abby; his wife Christine Barnes; his children, Brenda Thompson (William) and Jeff Nealon; his grandchildren, Tyler McCormick (Natasha), Emily Marsh (Isaac) and Abigail Thompson (Jason); his great grandchildren, Miles McCormick and Atreus Lallo; and his siblings, Ann Norris, Bobbie Hoskins, Connie Cox and Paul Nealon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
