He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Bowling and Stella Allen Bowling; his close friend Frances Hughes; his sister Pearl Reams; his son-in-law Larry Padgett; his nephews, Randall Reams and Clarence Ward; and his niece Brenda Ridings.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlene Padgett of Madison Heights, VA; his nieces, Carolyn Ward of London, KY, Vivian Henson (Tony) of London, KY and Sandra Goodin (Mitch) of London, KY; his brother-in-law Roscoe Reams of London, KY; his close friends, Roger, Debbie Holloway, Sheila Carnes, Randall Farley and Judy Hall; and his pet Miss Honey.
