He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sherrill and Henrietta Sherrill (England); his wife Loretta Sherrill (Young); and his brother Avery Sherrill. He is survived by: his children, Susan Freitag, Vicki Jones, Alan Freitag and Chris Jones; his grandchildren, Colton, Brooke, Rylie, Matthew and Ethan; and his siblings, Betty and Bobby Sherrill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
