We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2023, at the age of 81, Charles Frederick Sommers of Crossville, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Kimiyo Sommers of Crossville; his children, Katherine Buechel (Eric) of Pleasant Hill and Richard (Lawrence) of San Francisco; his grandchildren, Chad Crawford (Lynsey) of Knoxville, Landon Crawford of Knoxville, George Buechel of Norfolk, VA and Anastasia Spencer (Brock) of Cookeville; his great grandchildren, Paul Crawford, Alton Spencer, Lydia Crawford, Andrew Crawford and Molly Spencer; his sisters, Sarah Jane Burton and Susan Henson; and his close friend Lisa McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Doctors Without Borders or Hospice House of Cumberland County.
