It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Byron W Buell (Crossville, Tennessee), born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buell and Wannetta Buell; and his wife Barbara Buell. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Buell (Naval Hospital); and his brother Paul Buell (JoAnn).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Byron may be made to Fairfield Glade Community Church, Fairfield Glade Lions Club, Cumberland County Playhouse, Habitat for Humanity, or charity of the donor's choice.

“Byron and I had parallel careers at Kodak and the Naval Reserve in Rochester, New York. We shared many good times together. He and I were the proud recipients of a wall hanging celebrating our promotion to CAPTAIN, USNR.. Byron and Barbara were very good friends and we maintained our friendship and visits for over 50 years in Rochester, NY and Byron and Barbara’s visits to my house in Florida. He was one of the great ones and will be greatly missed. Tom Troidle CAPT, USN (retired)”
