He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley and Velmar Parrott Tabor; his brothers, Kenneth, Zilvin and Willard Tabor; and his grandparents, Sam, Lucinda Tabor (Atkinson), James and Charlotte Parrott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wilson Tabor; his daughters, Benita Koehl (Damon) and Renita Iles (Porter); his grandchildren, Dustin, Keeli, Adam, Brianna, Nicole, Todd and Brandon; his adoptive children, Bailey, Jaclyn Eaton, Taylor Guthrie and Brooke Hicks; his aunt Marlene Looney; and his brother Adam Hargis. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, three nieces, three nephews.
Ben was afflicted by COVID-19 on September 16, 2020, and fought it to the end.
