He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Elmore and Mamie Elmore (Hawn); and his siblings, Wiley, Archie, Vester and Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Erma Faye Elmore (Haney); and his siblings, Mabel England and Reed Elmore (Donna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
