He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hale Covington; his children, Joshua Covington (Christina), Joseph Covington (Jessica Mosley) and Lacy Covington; his sister Brenda Covington; and his aunt Ellen Tate. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
