With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Compton Long of Cross Plains, Tennessee, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Abernathy Compton, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Hart; and her sister Maurine Russell. She is survived by: her siblings, Clayton Compton (Johnnie) of Louisville, KY, Stephen Compton (Odell) of Crestwood, KY and Estelle Quisenberry (Gordon) of Louisville, KY; and her daughter Marissa Hundley. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews;23 great nieces and nephews; 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled and Burned Children.
