He is survived by: his granddaughter Lindsey; his wife Peggy; his son JT Austin Jr. (Carol); his granddaughter Amanda Russell (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Thomas Russell, Charlotte Russell, Rachel Kate Richardson, Caroline Russell and Willa Claire Richardson; and his brothers, Larry Wayne Austin (Linda) and Donnie Dean Austin.
