He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Traughber and Violetta Walker Traughber; and his son Steven Traughber. He is survived by: his children, Michael Traughber, David Wayne Traughber and Mary Faenza (Steven); and his sisters, Edna Irene Traughber, Joyce Searcy, Mary Haggard, Rosa Jean Ducos and Billie Jo Walker. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
