He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Jackson, Sr. and Idella Chitty Jackson Taylor; his wife Rosalie Covino Jackson; his grandson Jackson Cruz Garcia; and his stepfather Deacon Robert Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, April Covino Jackson (Daniel Garcia), Joshua Covino Jackson (Josh), Josh and Daimon Carrington; his siblings, Patricia Farris (Aron), Grace Reed (Richard), Betty Jackson and Elgin Jackson (Bobbie); his uncle Josh Liggins; and his aunt Mamie Pruitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
