He is survived by: his wife Joy Paton Smith; his stepchildren, Richard Paton, Jason Paton and Hannah Paton; his sister Mary Weaver (Jason); his nephew Christopher Summer; his niece AshLee Weaver; his great-niece Davianna; and his nephew Dreygon.
