We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Ellen S. Walker of Cowan, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wrice Powers and Annie Powers (Coker); her husband John Walker; her children, Wade Walker and Joy Short; and her grandson Jared Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Vineyard (James); and her grandchildren, John Bailey (Dawn), Lena Clark (Steven), Wesley Walker (Heather), Matthew Walker (Rebecca) and Christopher Vineyard (Theresa). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
