She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Clayburn and Byrdie Deerman Clayburn; her husband Kenneth Pierce; and her brother Edgar Clayburn. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Ansley of Winchester, Kenny Pierce (Paula) of Cookeville, TN and Tracy Hearing (Steve) of Franklin, TN.; her grandchildren, Katie Leming (Brandon) of Tullahoma, Allison Meador (Chris) of Hermitage, TN and Joshua Hearing (Chelsea) of Smyrna, TN; and her great grandchildren, Nelly, Lizzy, Hendrix, Harley and Hayden.
At the request of Mrs. Pierce, memorial contributions may be made to Cowan First Baptist Church, 316 Cumberland St. W., Cowan, TN 37318-3112.
