He was predeceased by: his children, Mary Terese, Barbara Ann and James Randall "Smurf" Goff; and his siblings, Max Goff, Rudy Goff, Roy Wilson, Bobby Allen Goff and May Wanda Goff.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Goff; his daughter Tina Goff; his grandchildren, Cassey Goff, Aaron Goff, James Goff, Jr., Courtney Miller (Josh), Cody Davis, Alexis Simon and Haley Nash; his great grandchildren, JaMarri Solomon, Kylie Goff, Athena Miller, Georgia Rose Goff and Landon Goff; and his siblings, Bonnie (Floyd), Sweeton of Cowan, Lynda Smith (Eddie) of Estill Springs, Greta Goff of Sparta, TN, Gayle Goff of Cowan and Alton (Donna). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
