She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thomas and Edna Mae Cheeves (Williams); her husband George Snyder; her siblings, Paul Thomas Cheeves Jr. and Helen Hammonds of Virginia; and her nephews, Tommy Cheeves, Lonnie Cheeves and Perry Hammonds.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell Golden (Rhonda) of Ft. Wayne, Melodie Kight (Wayne) of Unionville, Donald Golden (Rosemary) of Tullahoma, Tim Golden (Teresa) of Lynchburg and Brenda Dodson Jr. (Henry) of Cowan; and her brother George Cheeves (Debbie) of Clarksville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
