She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Greer and Leah Williams Greer; her husband J. Shelton Carter; and her siblings, William "Bill" Greer and Lurene Greer.
She is survived by: her son Johnny F. Carter (Laura) of McMinnville; her grandchildren, Andrew (Trista Carter) of Chattanooga and Caroline Cantrell (Tyler) of Smithville; her great grandchildren, Emberly Carter, Ethan Carter, Carter Cantrell, Parker Cantrell and Reese Cantrell; and her caregiver Maribeth Brock.
Memorial contributions should be directed to the Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Shriners Children's Hospital.
