He is survived by: his daughter Sharon; his son-in-law Jesse Carpenter of Mason, Tennessee; his siblings, Herbert (Sequoia Henson), Tony (Sue Henson), Wilma (Larry Smith) and Brenda Mason of Covington; his grandchildren, Jacob, Becky Carpenter of Clinton, Jordan, Emily Carpenter of Dacula, Kinsey and Rex Gorman of Monroe, Washington; and his great grandchildren, Eliza Carpenter, Benson Carpenter, Naomi Gorman, Ruthie Carpenter, Judah Carpenter, Phoebe Gorman, Sylvie Carpenter and John Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
