He is survived by : his wife Linda Reeser Daugherty; his daughters, Shannon Chesney (Brandon) of Brighton and Samantha Bennett (Dan) of Trimble, TN.; his grandchildren, Timothy Daugherty (Maddie), Lexie Bennett (Eli), Jordan Chesney, Dominic Chesney, Lilly Bennett (Justin), Gavin Chesney and Kyle Bennett; and his sister Cindy Webster (Brian) of Drummonds.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019).
