John Sutphin Obituary
In loving memory of John Sutphin (Covington, Tennessee), who departed this world on February 1, 2025 at the age of 67. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sutphin and Evelyn Stansberry Sutphin; his brothers, Jimmy "Bear", Freddie and Herman; and his son Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his daughters, Jennifer and Catherine "Catey" (Mario); his granddaughters, Kalaya, Nova and Mia; and his siblings, Nancy (Paul), Hazel (JV) and Tommy (Vickie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with lots of friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
