She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Benson and Mattie Benson; her husband Robert Lyle; her daughter Latisha Page; her siblings, Coy "Buddy" Benson, Nellie Hall and Nadine Ward; her pets, Rusty and Molly; and her grandchildren, Reva, Tonto and Prissy.
She is survived by: her daughter Melony Bennett (Billy); her pet Bitty; her brother Dan Benson; and her grandchild Brownie. She is also survived by her best friend, Meme, and a host of nieces and nephews.
