We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 70, Debbie Hendren Apfel of Covington, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Hendren and Billie Barham Griggs; her husband Jerry Apfel; her children, Jaime Hunter (Jerry), Kendra Parr (Donald), David Apfel and Cory Apfel (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Jillian Hunter, Jasper Hunter, Jansen Hunter, Coco Parr, Sebastian Parr, Braxton Apfel, Jaxon Apfel, Bre Taylor, Wyatt Apfel, Owen Durham and Luxley Apfel.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2105 TN-59, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building center for First Baptist Church Covington.
