He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Meter and Helen Smith Meter. He is survived by: his wife Jean Meter; his sons, Beau Robert Meter, Brodie Heath Meter (Chelsea), Keith Schumann (Joann), Kirk Schumann and Richie Cordell; and his brother Gary Lewis Meter (Katrina). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
