We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lucy Jean Smith (Counce, Tennessee), born in Grenada, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentiss Calvin and Ollie Orene Mooney Searcy; her sons, Timothy Joe Ellis and Tommy O'neal Ellis; and her brother Jimmy Dale Searcy.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Ray Smith; her children, Tammy Jeannette (Craig), John Christopher Wilbanks (Sharon) and JanaRaye Talley; her sister Betty Jo Biggs; her grandchildren, Cari Marie Hall (Randy), Bradley Craig Jeanette (Amy), Anna Christn Wilbanks, Tray Talley and Ali Rene Wilbanks; her great grandchildren, Piper, Coltin, Jase and Luke Hall; and her sister-in-law Carol Searcy.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Lucy's memories be sent to District 3 Community Center.
