He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Johnson; his former wife Peggy Johnson; and his siblings, Ann Rickman and Freeman "Cotton" Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Johnson; his daughters, Debbie Richard, Diana Johnson of West Monroe, LA and Merry; and his son-in-law Kevin Huddleston of Randolph, MS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
