With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilburn Henry Shumake of Cottontown, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Ruth McDonald Shumake; his parents, William Albert Shumake and Mattie Jane Autrey Shumake; his brothers, Claude and Hugh Shumake; and his grandchildren, Stacey Shumake Collins, Brian Apple and Jason Apple.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Shumake (Karen), Leroy Shumake (Mary), Anna Davis (Johnny), Judy Apple (David), Mark Shumake (Susan) and Bobbie Jo Shumake. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and brother and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in Cottontown, TN.
