With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rolie J. Rickel of Cottontown, Tennessee, born in Portland, Tennessee, who passed away on July 25, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Silvester Rickel and Mazie B. Morrow. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynn Langford Rickel of Cottontown; his sons, Reese Hooge (Ginger) of Greenbrier and Randell Hooge (Christa Goodwin) of Portland; his siblings, Bobby Rickel of White House, Randy Rickel (Jeri) of Nashville and Ann Rickel of Florida; his grandchildren, Abbey Medley (Chase), Megan Hooge, Veda Hooge and Layloni Hooge; and his great grandchild Saylor Medley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
