He is survived by: his wife Daris Abshire; his children, Chris Abshire, Tim Abshire (Tammy) and Terina "Tee" DeSheles (Roger); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy, Magan, Heather, Sam, Ciah, Kayla, Keylee and Tess; and his siblings, Jack Abshire, Josie Shockley, Dorothy Shockley, Joyce Akers and Bonnie Ballard (Ron). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
