He is survived by: his wife Sallie Benedict; his children, Ruth Prather (Stephen) and Tim Benedict (Melissa); his grandchildren, Lily, Steve, Addy Prather, Lexie, Clara, Hannah and Zoe Benedict; and his siblings, Bill Benedict (Kathy), Rex Benedict (Michelle), Leith Benedict (Pam) and Mary Thompson (Randy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and cousins.
