It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Herod of Cottontown, Tennessee, born in Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. "Pete" Vantrease and Fannie Bell Wade Vantrease; and her siblings, Judy Burris, Brenda Vantrease and Tommy Vantrease.

She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Herod of Cottontown, TN; her daughters, Wendy Morris (Steve) of Cottontown, TN and Elizabeth Porter (Jeff) of White House, TN; her grandchildren, Haley Edwards (Brad), Zach Morris (Savannah), Lacey Weaver (Ryan) and Seth Morris; her great grandchildren, Easton Edwards, Emmett Edwards, Royce Morris, EllieCate Edwards, Raynen Morris, Elise Edwards and Cooper Weaver; and her nephew Chip Vantrease (Amy).
