It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lyndon Smith of Cottontown, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Smith and Patrick Smith; his siblings, Ronnie Smith and Faye Vielmetti; his nephews, Mickey Vielmetti and Bubba Horton; his sister-in-law Vickie Smith; and his uncle Robert Helmontaler.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, David Smith, Jr. and Mandy Travis (Jon); his grandchildren, Bo Vickrey (Rachael), Chris Vickrey and Kelsey Vickrey; his great grandchildren, Ellie Rose Vickrey, Lillie Cate Vickrey, Sophia Sullivan and Callie Vickrey; his brothers, Danny Smith, Larry Smith and Terry Horton (Lisa); and his mother-in-law Therese Horton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
