He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Davis Wrather (Daisy D. Lane Wrather); and the mother of his children Nancy Wrather. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wrather; his daughters, Janice Taylor (Billy), Cindy Burns, Deanna Eaton (Milan) and Melinda Patterson (Rick); his stepchildren, Becky Bonner Tellas, William Boner (Joann) and Charles Boner, Jr. (Jeanne); and his siblings, William Wrather (Wanda) and Minerva Vines. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, 24 step great-grandchildren, 9 step great-great-grandchildren.
