He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald McLean Dowdy and Barbara Ann Nance Dowdy. He is survived by: his children, Britney Pierce (Larry) of Cottage Grove, TN, Cody Dowdy (Dawn) of Ardmore, TN and Brandon Dowdy (Jessica) of Ottawa, KS; his brother Gerald Wayne Dowdy of Memphis, TN; and his grandchildren, Mallorie Pierce, Evan Caruso and Lawton Dowdy.
