It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Vethro Ables (Cottage Grove, Tennessee), who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virchel E. Ables and Virgie Lucille Hill Ables; and his siblings, Zelma N. Bradley, Jo Ann Venable, Clovis D. Ables and Billy E. Ables.

He is survived by: his brother Elmo E. Ables of Mt. Pelia, TN. He is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
