He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Bernie" King and Patricia Ann Grooms (Philip); his wife Karen King; and his stepsister Charline Casey. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda King of Puryear; his stepson Bobby Casey (Shannon) of Cottage Grove; his sister Laura Denham (Jimmy) of Lexington, Tennessee; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Starnes (Wildman) of Cottage Grove and Pennie Casey of Waynesboro, Tennessee. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
