She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Simpson and Grace Shell Simpson; her husband James R. LaFon; and her son Michael LaFon. She is survived by: her children, Diane Owens of Paris and Steven LaFon (Tammy) of McKenzie; and her grandchildren, Wanda Gardner, Angela Owens, Anna Parker, Jamie Conger and Jennifer Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren and other family members.
