He is survived by: his spouse Peggy Stagner Buie; his children, Reva Jean Green of Paris, Dana Ann Davis (Dwight) of Waverly, TN, Tina Lynn Buie of Paris and James Terrance "Terry" Buie (Marry Ann) of Murray, KY; his grandchildren, Jeremy Buie, Keri Ann Robinson and Dylan Lyn Singleton; his great grandchildren, Decker Robinson and Jacob Cantrell; and his sister Ada Carolyn Ray of Cottage Grove.
