It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Mae Ball of Cosby, Tennessee, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cled Sutton and Elmor Lee Sutton; her husband Paul Ball; her children, Rex Ball, Evelyn Shults, Cathy Sutton and Freda Turner; and her siblings, Kiff Sutton, Charles Sutton, Bub Sutton, Eva Jo Ryan and Glenna Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Ball (Bonnie), Riley Ball (Susan) and Mellissa McCarter (Clifford); her son-in-law Ike Sutton; and her siblings, Rose Lunsford, Lawrence Sutton and Jack Sutton. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In recognition of the continuing pandemic, masks and social distancing are encouraged for those in attendance.
