She was predeceased by: her parents, Flem D. "Jack" Rees and Vernie Baker Rees; and her niece LaLanya Maria Rees. She is survived by: her husband John Edmond Casey; her children, Kimberly Whitaker (Virgil) and Travis Casey (Tasha); her grandchildren, Michael Phipps (Hope), Dalton Phipps (Keisha), Madison Phipps (Gavyn), Lucy Casey, Jordynn Green, Gary Wayne Whitaker and Cassandra Whitaker Napier; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Phipps and Kamrynn Phipps. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
