He is survived by: his daughter Sherry; his son-in-law Tony Gilmer of Dandridge, TN; his brother Dale; his sister-in-law Hazel McMahan of Cosby, TN; his sister Anna Polly Smith of Melbourne, FL; his stepsisters, Anna Ogle and Grace Parton; his grandchildren, Caroline Curtis of Knoxville, TN and Jacob Curtis of Newport, TN; and his stepgrandchildren, Laura Cribley, Brad Gilmer of Morristown, TN and Logan Gilmer of Whitesburgh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McMahan Cemetery (5194 Jones Cove Rd, Cosby, TN 37722).
