She was predeceased by: her son Andrew Abagi; her parents, Blias Habib and Mary Louise Shawi Battikha; and her sister Gaby Warda. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Young; her son Gabriel Steele; and her siblings, Sonya Bates of Montreal, Canada and Macgee Battikha of Tampa, Florida.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
