He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Phillips; his parents, Omer Phillips and Zella Phillips; his siblings, Clemmon Phillips, Stocal Phillips, Ruby Hall, Kathleen O'dell and Dore Hall; his sisters-in-law, Jean Baxter and Leta Lindsey; and his parents-in-law, Rule and Trula Lindsey.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Phillips Jr. (Linda) of Sevierville; his granddaughters, Chelsea Burnett (Zack) of Sevierville, Cassidy Rader of Sevierville, Jayden of Sevierville, Canyan of Sevierville, Ruger Burnett of Sevierville, Crew of Sevierville and Laynie Rader of Sevierville; his children, Christy Baxter of Knoxville and Horace Leonard (Darlene) of North Carolina; and his sisters-in-law, Roena Baxter (Whitey) of Newport and Deanna Phillips of Cosby.
In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending service, Costner-Maloy strongly encourages that all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
