He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hill and Mary Hill; and his siblings, Edith Owenby Carver, Dorothy Owenby Combs, Nona Owenby, Arvin Owenby, Jean Owenby, Wade Hill and Roy Hill.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Hill; his daughter-in-law Chasity Hill; his sister Brenda Hill Winstead; his sister-in-law Reva Owenby; and his close friend Carlene Baxter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
