He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip McDermott and Barbara McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McDermott; his close friend Katie Sexton; his daughter Kayla Thompson; his siblings, Wilhelmina McDermott and Joe McDermott; and his pets, Tinker and Bell McDermott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
