She was predeceased by: her son Richard Benson; her parents, Ota Brown and W. R. Brown; and her siblings, Verna Brown, Brenda Bright, Roger Brown and Robert Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Cleve Benson, Jr.; her children, Brian Benson of Greeneville and Jamie Benson of Cosby; her grandchildren, Hunter McClanahan, Christine Benson and Tyler Benson; and her siblings, Ronnie Brown of Cosby and Reda Brown of Newport. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
The family will welcome and appreciate visits from friends when all danger of the Corona Virus has passed.
