He is survived by: his children, Jacob Grooms of Sevierville and Jazmine Grooms of North Carolina; his siblings, Terry Grooms of Newport, Lawrence Grooms of Cosby and Hazel Sutton of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Corbin and Marlea Grooms of Sevierville.
