He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gates; his son Lacy; his daughter-in-law Amy Gates; his daughter Renee; his son-in-law Carter Moore; his grandchildren, Katey, Janey, Carter Moore II, Joshua, Jordan and Jensen Gates; his siblings, John Frazier, Jr. and Doris Morrow; his siblings-in-law, Earl Phillips, Wayne, Johnnie Mae Phillips, Carl Phillips, Shirley and Vondie Costner; and his pets, Sofie and Toby.
